Search by area, dates and number of guests. Open a cabin, choose your dates and send a request. You sign in with a code that we send to your email. The host has 24 hours to reply, and you pay only once the host has confirmed.
The host has 24 hours to reply. If the host says yes, the booking appears in your account, and we email you when it is time to pay.
If the host says no, or does not reply in time, the request expires. Nothing has been charged.
Before booking, the map shows an approximate location, a few hundred metres from the cabin. This protects empty cabins against break-ins. The exact address, directions and key details are shown in your booking once it is paid.
Not to search and save cabins. When you book, you sign in with a one-time code sent to your email, and your account is created automatically.
Every listing says whether pets are allowed. In the search, you can choose to see only cabins where pets are welcome.
Only once the host has confirmed the booking. Nothing is charged when you send a request, and we email you when it is time to pay.
No. The price you see is the full price, including VAT. You pay no fee to Stugtid.
No. Always pay through Stugtid, never to the host directly or outside the site. If someone asks you to do that, tell us.
Open the booking in your account and tap Cancel. You see straight away how much you will get back, before you confirm.
It depends on the host's cancellation policy, which is shown in the listing and in the booking form.
Flexible: full refund up to 14 days before arrival, half up to 7 days before.
Moderate: full refund up to 30 days before arrival, half up to 14 days before.
Strict: full refund up to 60 days before arrival, half up to 30 days before.
You get back everything you have paid. If you have not paid yet, nothing is charged.
Write to the host in your booking. The change applies once the host has approved it and any difference in price has been paid.
The address and directions are shown in your booking once it is paid. A key code is shown 48 hours before arrival.
Write to the host in your booking as soon as you notice, and take photos if you can. If you can't agree, tell us.
All contact goes through Stugtid, as protection against attempts to get you to pay outside the site. Phone numbers and addresses in messages are replaced automatically. Once calling is available in the service, you can call each other through our number from 48 hours before arrival.
It says in the listing. Often you clean yourself following the host's instructions, and in many cabins you can choose final cleaning as an extra. You see the price before you book.
Tick final cleaning in the booking form, if the cabin offers it. You see the price before you book.
Enter your email and we send you a code. The code is valid for ten minutes. You don't need a password. If the sign-in page shows the Sign in with BankID button, you can also sign in with BankID.
Write to hej@stugtid.se. We delete the account, except what we must keep by law, such as receipts for seven years.
It is free to list a cabin. You pay 8% of the rent on each booking, including VAT. A week at SEK 8,000 then costs SEK 640.
Guests pay no fee, and there is no monthly fee.
The guest pays only once you have confirmed the booking and payment through Stugtid has opened, always on Stugtid. How and when the rent is paid out will be explained here when payments open.
A bank account in your name and an ID check with the payment partner, when payment through Stugtid opens. Before your first booking, you also need to provide the information that the Swedish Tax Agency requires of us, such as your Swedish personal identity number and the cabin's property designation.

Only someone who has stayed in the cabin through a booking here can write a review: the booking must have been confirmed by the host, not cancelled, and the check-out date must have passed. The guest and the host write without seeing each other's reviews, and both are published at the same time.
We ask every guest who has said yes to it, never just a few. Nobody is paid or given a discount for a review. We don't remove reviews because they are negative, and we never change the text. Reviews from stays that were not paid here are labelled Confirmed by the host, and a person on our team may check them before they are published.
Use the Report button, or write to hej@stugtid.se with the address of the listing and what it is about.
No. Stugtid lists cabins in the host's name. You rent from the host, and our role is described in the terms.
