About Åre
Åre all year round
Åre lies on Lake Åresjön in western Jämtland, with Åreskutan directly above the village. There are cabins and apartments in the village and along the valley, towards Björnen, Tegefjäll and Duved.
The village has a railway station and lies on the E14, so you can get here without a car. There is a grocery shop, a pharmacy and a health centre in the village all year round.
