About Östersund
Östersund lies on the eastern shore of Lake Storsjön, with the island of Frösön in the lake. The airport is on Frösön, about 10 km from the centre.
From here, the E14 runs west towards Åre and Storlien, and the E45 south towards Klövsjö, Vemdalen and Funäsdalen.
